This policy explains how Moonly Home Works Sdn. Bhd. (“Moonly”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through moonly.help and in the course of providing plumbing and electrical services. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. Data we collect
When you book a job or contact us we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and the description of the problem you send us, including any photos or videos you choose to share. If you pay by bank transfer or card, payment references are processed by the respective payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and schedule the visit you requested.
- To prepare quotes, invoices and receipts required by law and by our warranty terms.
- To contact you about work in progress, follow-up visits or warranty claims.
- To keep basic job records so we can honour the six-month workmanship warranty.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them.
3. Who we share it with
Job details are shared only with the Moonly crew assigned to your booking. We may disclose data where required by law, or to professional advisers (accountants, insurers) under confidentiality obligations. Suppliers delivering parts directly to your address receive only the delivery information they need.
4. How long we keep it
Booking and invoice records are retained for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Enquiry messages that do not become bookings are deleted within twelve months.
5. Security
Records are stored on access-controlled systems available only to staff who need them. Paper job sheets are digitised and shredded on a rolling basis.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to, or correction of, your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to processing that is not required for us to complete work you have ordered. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within twenty-one days.

8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Material changes affecting how existing customer data is used will be notified by email where we hold one for you.
