Terms & Conditions

Last revised: 3 June 2026

These terms govern services provided by Moonly Home Works Sdn. Bhd. (Business Reg. No. 202401173856 (1562047-K)). By confirming a booking you accept them. They are written to be read, not to hide things — if anything is unclear, ask before the job starts.

1. Quotes and pricing

Every job is quoted before work begins, either over the phone from your description or on site after diagnosis. A quote covers the described scope; if opening up reveals additional problems, work pauses and we re-quote before continuing. You are never charged for work you did not approve.

2. Callouts and cancellations

Diagnosis within our published coverage areas is free when you proceed with the quoted work, and free even if you decline it. Cancelling a confirmed slot less than two hours before the window, or a no-show at the property, may incur a RM60 attendance fee on your next booking.

3. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, DuitNow QR and major cards. For multi-day projects (rewiring, re-piping) a schedule of staged payments is agreed before work starts, with no more than 30% payable upfront.

4. Workmanship warranty

Our workmanship is warranted for six months from the invoice date. If something we installed or repaired fails through a fault in our work, we return and correct it at no cost. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, third-party alterations, blockages caused by new foreign objects, or wear of consumable parts. Manufacturer warranties on supplied units apply in addition to, not instead of, this warranty.

5. Access and site conditions

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area, a safe working environment, and use of water and electricity as needed for the job. Where parking charges are unavoidable at your property, they are added to the invoice at cost with the receipt attached.

6. Liability

We carry public liability insurance and take genuine care in your home, including protective sheeting where dust or debris is expected. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work invoiced, except where the law does not permit such a limit. We are not liable for pre-existing defects we did not work on, though we will point them out when we see them.

7. Photographs of work

Technicians photograph the work area before and after the job for quality records and warranty purposes. These photos show pipes, wiring and fittings — not your home generally — and are never published without your written permission.

8. Disputes

Tell us first — most issues are fixed with one phone call and, where needed, a free return visit. Failing that, disputes are governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
